How does Smart CareGenius actually work?
Smart CareGenius identifies certain behaviors, routines, and activity patterns—like getting up, going to the
bathroom, or brushing teeth. It learns your child’s “normal” and lets you know when something looks different. This
helps you stay informed without needing to constantly check in, giving you peace of mind while maintaining your
child’s independence.

Is this like a security camera? Is it recording my child?
No. It’s not a security camera. Smart CareGenius doesn’t record video or audio. It uses innovative technology to
detect movements and routines, and then deletes the data—it’s privacy-first. This means you get smart support
without sacrificing your child’s dignity or your family’s privacy.
Can this help with everyday tasks like brushing teeth or going to the bathroom?
Yes. Smart CareGenius can give gentle prompts for routines like hygiene, meals, and transitions. You can customize
these prompts for your child’s schedule. So what? You don’t have to repeat yourself 10 times, and
your child gains confidence doing things independently.
What if my child doesn’t respond well to tech or prompts?
That’s okay. Smart CareGenius adapts to your child’s routines. If prompts don’t help, the system alerts you or a
caregiver to step in. It’s designed to assist—not replace—human care. So what? You’re never left in
the dark, and your child isn’t overwhelmed. You get tools that support, not frustrate.
How will I know if something’s wrong?
If the system detects a change in behavior (like no movement, wandering, or skipping an activity), it sends a
real-time alert to your phone. So what? You can act fast, even if you’re across the house—or across
town. You stay connected when it matters most.
Is it hard to install or use?
Not at all. Most families set it up in under 30 minutes. Our support team is there to guide you step-by-step. Once
installed, it works quietly in the background. So what? You don’t need to be tech-savvy. You’ll
spend less time troubleshooting and more time focusing on your child.
Will it work if my child is non-verbal or has limited communication?
Yes. Smart CareGenius was built specifically to help in situations where a child can’t express their needs easily.
It notices behaviors and alerts you even when there’s no speech. So what? You no longer have to
guess when something’s wrong—Smart CareGenius gives your child a way to be “seen” even when they can’t speak.
Can I use this in just one room or do I need it everywhere?
You can start with one room—like a bedroom, bathroom, or common area. Many families begin in the space where the
most supervision is needed. So what? You can test it out without committing to a big setup—and still
get major peace of mind.
Is this covered by insurance or waiver programs?
We’re actively working with agencies and waiver programs to secure reimbursement options. In the meantime, we offer
flexible plans for families. So what? You don’t have to navigate the system alone—we’re here to help
make this accessible and affordable.
How is this different from a wearable or GPS tracker?
Wearables only work if your child is wearing them, and most don’t help with routines or daily transitions. Smart
CareGenius isn’t worn. It stays active in the environment, guiding structure and offering support without needing to
be charged, tracked, or remembered. So what? You’re free from managing another device. Smart CareGenius quietly
supports safety and consistency, fitting into your family’s life instead of disrupting it.
How is Smart CareGenius for seniors different from what autistic and neurodivergent individuals receive?
The core platform is the same, but it’s tailored for each group:

  • For seniors, the focus is on safety and independence — reminders, fall detection, and monitoring of daily
    wellness.
  • For autistic and neurodivergent individuals, the focus is on skill-building and structured learning —
step-by-step guidance, positive reinforcement, and smoother transitions.

This allows us to serve both groups well while keeping the experience personalized.
